Candice V. Sankarsingh is a watercolourist. She has used and experimented with different media over her career but watercolours truly speak her language.
She draws inspiration from nature and meticulously develops her palette as the colours reveal themselves. Since 2020, her painting style has evolved to realistic depictions of watery landscapes, forest botanicals and historical portraits. She explores moments of serendipity, opulence and inner sensuality through her work.
She was formally trained in studio by Anne-Marie Howard and mentored by award-winning Bengali Master Watercolourist Meeta Dani.
Candice is officially registered with the National Artist Registry of Trinidad and Tobago and is recognised for her endeavours in the field of painting.
